About UsThe Kodama Lab focuses on identifying the underlying mechanisms of diabetes and its complications by integrating and meta-analyzing large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and enviromic data using computational analytic method, and finding means of early diagnostic markers and treatment procedures for the diseases. We have developed a pipeline of meta-analysis for omics data sets related to diabetes and verification experiments for candidate genes/proteins identified by our data-driven approach.
Our ultimate goal is to develop strategies for reclassifying the diseases and deliver stratified and precision medicine to each patient. |
